The gentleman in the chair is Jeremy Maddox with his girl friend Amy. He suffered a spinal cord injury in a Motocross accident in 1998. He hasn't allowed the accident to prevent his need for speed. He competes regularly around the country in wheelchair racing competitions such as Atlanta's own Peachtree Road Race held on July 4th. I didn't know anything about him when I took these photographs. However, I quickly detected a man who thrives to live for his passions instead of his restrictions. This may seem like a different approach for this blog. I believe "style" isn't always about the clothes, it's a persona, attitude, and how we truly influence others.
